In 2001, Emma's family convinced her to share her magical baking talent with the community-at-large. Emma never thought about opening a business; she just loved to bake and cook. But, in the summer of 2001, Emma's sons Jim, Dulyn, Maikol, Vanesa & Roberto helped her open the doors of El Dorado Pie & Treats. Ever since, El Dorado's has been a much treasured fixture in the North shore. Consistent home made quality, a warm atmosphere, and plenty of cookie samples for the little ones have made El Dorado Pie & Treats the favorite place for tasty treats in North-Vancouver. In fact, many of El Dorado's frequent visitors have been enjoying her baked goods since We opened.
